Prof. Chirag Shah published the article Capturing Collabportunities: A Method to Evaluate Collaboration Opportunities in Information Search using Pseudocollaboration (with Roberto Gonzolez-Ibanez and Ryen White) in the Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology (JASIST). Their findings establish when and how collaborative search opportunities, or collabportunities, significantly help or hinder the search process versus searches conducted individually.
