Keith Hampton publishes new paper on persistent and pervasive community

Prof. Keith Hampton has published a new paper in the journal American Behavioral Scientist on Persistent and Pervasive Community: New Communication Technologies and the Future of Community. The paper explores how two affordances of digital communication technologies, persistent contact and pervasive awareness, are ushering in fundamental change to the structure of community.
