Prof. Matthew Weber co-published an article with a PhD candidate titled, “Investing in Collaborative Technology to Improve Communication? Proceed With Caution” in Communication Currents, a publication of the National Communication Association. This article is a translated version of their journal article, “Virtuality, Technology Use, and Engagement Within Organizations” in the Journal of Applied Communication Research. This research provides insight into the balancing act that must occur when organizations design and implement collaborative technology to improve work outcomes.
